Howdy :)

First post - shameless self-promo (that is just shameless :) )

Anyway, this is my new track that I'm working on, only for fun of course. Just looking for some opinions and maybe tips how to make it better :)

Cheers :)

liking the track, but not the piano tho... to me it sounds plain compared to the rest of the instruments. adding ping-pong delay or maybe more some reverb on top, and to spice it up surround rotate the sound, and that will make it more atmospheric and also match the feel of the other instruments. otherwise it sticks out not in a good way. other than that, me laiks very much!

ps: what production software did you use for this one?

Thanks for reply fri :)

I just always have problems with making piano sound as I want to. Of course, it has some of reverb and delay, but... Maybe I try some other VST for piano or I will try more eqing.

As a DAW I'm using Ableton Live ;)

Cheers.

Yup, it's good until the piano. And I don't just dislike the sound of the piano, the melody is quite annoying too, the pa-pa-pa-paa, which continues in the lead, though it's not as annoying there. Skip the second and fourth note from that, so that the former is a quarter and the latter a whole.

Okie dokie :) Will try to work on the piano, maybe I change it for something else - some plucky sound. Also will try to rework main melody, I was thinking about some chords, like in this firs melody, before piano.

Thanks guys, really appreciate your tips :)
