It's also annoying that SoundCloud has made it harder to get the cover art. Was it really necessary?
2014-10-01 @ 11:51 UTC
lindmik (lindmik@gmail.com)
SoundCloud got a small facelift, but I still dislike that the track info is three lines high, and expanding it overlays the waveform. The original layout was way better, as it was akin to our tracklist page layout. ;)

there is, but that small wave of spam was because of us. the link detector script was failing. i fixed that so give it few days/weeks and we'll see how that goes ;)

Great show from Moxie - future music vibes, definitely worth a listen. Plus, most of the tracks played are available as free DL. :)

Wasn't 666 to your pleasing? Well, it's superfluous with so many other great uptempo darker trance shows.

The top-3 are all in meh state for me.

I have every episode of ASOT from the 000 to 666 and I am seriously considering whether or not I need anything from the 550-666 range, other than the birthday episodes of course.

It's just average music.

11 hour Markus set is coming up from last weekend in Toronto. Can't wait!

Cox plays pretty much everything but techno, nowadays, except for special occasions, e.g Awakenings, Time Warp... Quite boring most of the times, though, according to my tastes :(
2014-09-24 @ 19:34 UTC
blade999 (htheologitis@gmail.com)
Quality techno, and tech-house are heard only on Berghain, and not in any other podcast or gig... The purest techheads are there, and just give their best for the genres! Bad thing is the IDs, one known every 30 tracks :)
2014-09-24 @ 14:00 UTC
jambowned (seanpincombe@gmail.com)
I seem to enjoy tracks that show up as Tech House and Deep House, but I'm not sure if that's reflective of their respective Top 10 charts.

All I know is I love the stuff that John Digweed and Eelke Kleijn play in live sets and radio shows.

@adambrooklyn
Dubstep is so 2010 right now, even it's godfather Skream went to Deep House and Disco... I doubt that there are still some people around who could stand going through 1,5-2h Dubstep mix :D

Can't say about Armin, because I don't follow his mixes, but judging from available TLs and rare Boiler Room sets I watched, he plays Prog, Tech, Deep, regular House and even some Electro in his sets, thus I can't think of him as a Techno DJ.

I can advise you to check Tessela's mixes for some Techno, which can be found here :)

does anybody have .cue files for Excision Shambhala 2014 mix and Skrillex @ Slipper Room NYC 09-05-2014? thanks.

Ah ok, I didn't realise.

I just saw that he has a 4 hour set for his 600th Global show.

Did he do an Armin?
2014-09-23 @ 05:25 UTC
oxygen15
'Cause he plays almost anything but true Techno nowadays?.. :D

Also very few of us are ready to make cues without published tracklists, and there are usually none from Cox...
2014-09-22 @ 22:36 UTC
jambowned (seanpincombe@gmail.com)
With the love of techno around here, how is it that no one cues Carl Cox's Global?!
2014-09-21 @ 08:46 UTC
lindmik (lindmik@gmail.com)
Yeah, I know. Might want to do a clean slate approach with separated tracks to speed up the tracklist rendering. But could have the cues "cached" as files.
2014-09-20 @ 20:11 UTC
frifox (frifox@gmail.com)
Check out the "cuesheets" table in db, specifically the "data" column. That is the copy of the cue file. I'm guessing we can change the download function to pull the data from db and then feed it as a downloadable .cue instead of just linking to the physical file.

The only thing db doesn't keep track of are the revisions.
2014-09-20 @ 19:06 UTC
lindmik (lindmik@gmail.com)
I removed ~35000 files:
- 24473 old cache files
- 6079 old version files
- 2899 unknown cache files
- 579 unknown version files
- 950 unknown files

To get down the number further we have to move something to the DB. Comments, download statistics, links, etc. Then eventually also the cue data.

gregov (gregov@revolusic.com)
Both are real ;)
There were 31 2hrs episodes on pure.fm.
Almost year after the last episode show restarted on ah.fm with 1hr episodes.
2014-09-19 @ 17:41 UTC
frifox (frifox@gmail.com)
ok, I'm confused now... checking Basil O'Glue's soundcloud he has his Momentum show there. Currently he's up to episode #20 and is progressing on monthly bassis and is 1hr long each.

However, on my computer I have 31 Momentum episodes and each is 2hr long... so which one is the "real" momentum? D:

That's the crazy thing Lindmik.

Schulz still does absolutely amazing mixes for stuff like the New Years Classics, the Sunrise Set, Coldharbour Day, ProgDay, EOYC and #YAMC.

It's just the radio show has gone to commercial shit.
2014-09-18 @ 22:40 UTC
MrVrhgyiB (varhegyibeni@enternet.hu)
21 tracks because there was a Robin Schulz guestmix for 30 minutes.
2014-09-18 @ 18:46 UTC
lindmik (lindmik@gmail.com)
It was understandable that the Closing Party had more tracks, it's just that I didn't like almost any of them, and many were too similar. Next time for me will probably be the Classics Showcase... :(
2014-09-18 @ 18:00 UTC

Seems like Markus Schulz read your comments. Kept it down to 21 tracks on GDJB this week.
